Thank you, I followed most of that post, and agree.

My background is in business analysis and report writing. The nature of such reports is to present the facts and the questions, and then logically lead the reader to agree with the concluding opinion(s), and to do so as dispassionately as possible.

This demands clarity, though I have more issues with that as I age (and I know we are about the same age, because I recall your references to your experiences in the Navy).
