Perhaps.  Paradigms DO change though, by necessity.

If the VisualCapitalist presentation is an accurate assessment of what is to come, the large interests will have to look beyond trying to improve the efficencies of production from decreasing grades.

Put another way, the people who in the past would not have considered blind targets may be forced to do so, the large interests may have to go places they would not have before, every 'segment' (for lack of a better term) between the Discoverer and Large Producer may find it neccessary to delve deeper than they did in the past.

Analogy: When Top-Flight talent is scarce, a Sports franchise may start scouting in places it never did before - Europe, Canada, Asia, High Schools, even elementary schools as was in the news this past week.
