Lighten up, Ferderici. Despite all the positive accomplishments from people across the globe, across time, across culture, including the middle east, the world is still full of idiots doing many stupid things. Some in the name of religion, others for nationalism or whatever. The world is in a very dangerous place because too many stupid people follow too many despots. And it is only getting worse.

There are many very good, very intelligent people in the world, just not enough of them. And I believe you are one them (the intelligent, good variety). As for the Omanis ... we did have a couple of "stupid" MOT heads, but fortunately, they were canned. I believe the first one that unfortunately passed away, and the current one, are top notch. The only recent "stupidity" (if it can be called that), is the slow, inexplicable response from the RCA given their past support. It's like working all year long to get into the Super Bowl, be within one touchdown of winning it in the final minute and just sitting on the ball. I believe that's what Anitha was referring to.
