Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Just started reading for the day. This is my own veiw in a general sort of way. I would like to follow Rinkys train of thought and propose that the price of our shares in SLI does not really matter. This is because, I think the SLI share price reflects what the company, which includes all assets and property to date, is worth. As a one (Tesoro) or two (Vilcoro) parts of that company become more desiarable, the overall worth or SP will go up to reflect company worth. This might be Rinky that has a couple of lots that are worth more which makes his overall company worth more. Hence his SP goes up. Now someone comes along and whats to buy one of the SLI properties for $XXX billion dollars. SLI sells the property and now has all its remaining assets and a bank full of money. For Rinky, he sold a lot and has some more development money. Sli stock will go down because the company is not worth as much because some of its assets are gone. However, Sli has a bucket full of money and has investors. SLI will then keep some of this money to carry on with the next development and pays out the remainder on a so much per share basis. For Rinky, his wife will get new shoes. I now see this happening with another property and so on. The owner being SLI does not get sold it is its asset. Just my thoughts.
