Connacher is a growing exploration, development and production company with a focus on producing bitumen and expanding its in-situ oil sands projects located near Fort McMurray, Alberta
t is the last part that does not seem right, they have not gotten Pod1 up to full produciton yet, how do they anticipate getting P2 up to full production in that short of a time frame. Can someone with industry knowledge answer (like 2 crude or ??).
One would hope that they will learn from their mistakes. I don't mean that in a derogatory manner, just that problems are to be expected and the industry is young. I believe that the last time, they predicted three months from initial production to full production. They are probably being conservative in their estimates this time by giving it say four to six months. Also, remember how there were rumours with the GD startup when people were saying that "black stuff was coming out of the wells" and being trucked, yet it took a couple weeks (or more?) before there was any official confirmation that bitumen was being produced in quantity.
