Message: Buy Out Predictions

Hey all.....just joined Agoracom....I havent been on Stockhouse in months and I see its degenerated to nothing more than name calling for all purposes, so I thought Id try this board out to talk about CUU.

It would be interesting to see what everyones predictions for a buyout would be. Theres that old article about $244 a share, which while it would be nice, makes me laugh as well. Theres the Stockhouse school that says we'll be lucky to get $1.25 which I dont believe (just an opinion not trying to start off another spat of bickering here), so Ill start if off with my opinion...and hopefully everyone else can throw their predictions with some support in as well. Even people who think we wont get much are welcome just please back it up with some actual information.

We hit a high of $2.75. Stifel was buying quite high as were insiders, and when the economy was looking positive this thing was going like a fine tuned engine. Now the economy is in the dumps but the fundamentals for a massive bull market in the metals has been brewing and once we see the economy stabilizing a bit I think we'll see something akin to the same fine tuned engine starting up again.

Things working against us: Unproven resources, dilution, negativity from anyone who bought in the $2.00+ range.

That being said...the resource is big enough I dont think Dilution matters as much as some people think, if nothing else...whats a million more shares on 400 million...its about 0.25%.Dilution primarily gets you when theres not a lot of shares outstanding to begin with so a few million either way doesnt really matter here. Unproven resources wont fetch us fair value but they also wont go for free. Negativity....well.....stocks go up and down....you look at the endgame. If you bought at $2.00 I still think holding is a good idea, every stock got hit in the last few months not just us.

Good things for us: More assays coming, excellent management, huge insider position.

Teck sees what we see, the 120 day countdown is going to force their hand, especially with the sheer awesomeness of these new assays. While there isnt enough time to prove them up in the 120 days Im sure Tecks guys can come to a pretty logical conclusion, and the fact that they can get extra resources for a discount if they act quick. Management is top nothch and knows what they're doing, and Ernesto is obviously not going to take a bad deal, although Ernesto could also be a double edged sword if he just wants to get paid fast, however I suspect he knows he can get more.

Those assays are definately building tonnes for us....and we havent even got all the overdue ones yet. 1 billion tonnes is not a small resource, and we're improving tonnes and grades here. Teck will see this and honestly....I believe they will pay us an excellent premium over and above true value just to seal the deal quickly.

In short....my prediction for a CUU buyout would be in the range of $4.50-5.50 a share. Its not being negative, but I think its also not realistic to think we're going to be getting much higher. I bought my first shares at .08 cents, then at .15, then at .60 and some more at $1.00.....I would gladly take $4.50.

So my prediction....$4.50-$5.00.....anyone else have opinions on this?
