CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Catalyst???? Teck not backing in would be the 'catalyst'. The 75% discount we need to factor in because of a potential Teck earn-in of 75% will be removed. From essentially 25% ownership of the deposit, we can calculate 100% ownership of the deposit.
Teck backing away gets rid of the Teck Agreement. At that point investors will be able to see and calculate CUU's value more clearly. Think of how much time over the years that investors like us have tried to work around all of the various numbers (0%, 20, 40%, 75% earn in - and the potential for Teck to flip a portion or all of its earn-in... let alone a simple 100% buyout).
Clarity regarding the fundementals will be the catalyst.
