CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
. . . and yet those Chinese and Koreans have been phoning Elmer for a year or more to understand the contract with Teck and what is available for sale at what point in time. CIC already owns 17% of Teck and therefore would become an owner of our non-producer copper company when Teck opts in for whatever percentage.
I really don't think it is possible to know the investing intentions of the entire Chinese investment funds without working closely alongside them for many years. Much like Teck has done.
