Squishy: "I would prefer a quick back in by Teck, because I don't like the odds of a takeover by the Chinese, Koreans, etc. The reason I don't like the odds because when it comes to takeovers in the copper space, the Chinese, Koreans, etc have shown to have an appetite for the producing copper companies only. I can't think of a non-producer copper company that was taken out by the Chinese in recent history. My money is riding on a backin with Teck, and if that doesn't happen, I will take my money and move on to something else. Simple as that."

I am goint to bite one last time. If a producing copper mine is such an important fundemental characteristic of a copper stock... why would you have bought CUU? Only Webgogs (respectfully) has really pushed the case for CUU going to production. I am not in that camp* but understand his points.

I think you may want to consider the rationale you made looking into CUU as I place very low odds of them (Copper Fox Metals) taking SC to production. Even before Elmer, it was not the goal for CUU. The former management wanted to sell it on the PFS. If your money is "riding on a backin with Teck ..." etc, then that could be a better focus of your concern here.

jmho

* The reason I am not in the CUU going to production camp is that Elmer told me himself (to my understanding) that he does not like the risks for a little guy taking such a big project all the way into production and riding out the cycles. For me, that is a job better suited to a Teck sized outfit with our without a partner.

They need to prepare 100% for such an eventuality (mining) as they would loose any bargaining position (they would be in a corner with out a plan B). They also need to be prepared for that portion (25%, 605, 80%) of SC that they will have to deal with after Teck's decision.

And, not certainly not least, they are packaging up a turn-key green-field operation with plans, permits, studies and First Nation relations in place - ready to start.

The best way for them to get to a turn-key state is to be in teh mindset of "we are taking this to a mine". Natuarally, it is understandable that it should look that way.

It's a nice day... everyone go play outside
