Thank you Chops, and others, for your responses to my question. Good to have the 'straight from the horses mouth' info and the various opinions, preferences. CUU is only the second mining stock that we've owned (sold all of the first 'venture' shares that we held for about 7 years and poured it and a lot of our other investment cash into CUU) so it will be good for us to see the buyout. Wouldn't be averse to the other scenarios though; spinco would mean keeping ties with the best thing, financially, that's going to happen to us....soon...I'm picturing paying off the kids OSAP, sponsoring their master's degrees, touring northern BC at our leisure.....panning for more 'gold' (copper!)...zap, back to the present, better check on the batch of jam bubbling on the stove...sigh.
