CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
Couldn't agree more, Vette! Few reasons why "I feel" we will never see the FS...
1. The public and the markets like clean deals. I have been in or seen deals get done in oil and gas and the clean smooth deals are the best. Why????? Future relations, more certainty, and management reputation. I think this will happen as long as CUU doesnt ask for the moon and Teck doesnt cheap out...just a fair deal!
2. Bidding wars get messy and piss off a lot of people...especially when you have a relation like CUU and Teck have now. I've seen companies enter into a sales process when a suitor was in the wings. Opening up to bids pissed the suitor off never to return with the original offer and then they were dealing with "unfriendlies"...
Just my thoughts and experience...anyone else want to chime in?
Happy investing,
