CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
don lindsay ceo of teck has said three times over the last 8 months in public statements that they are content with the projects they already have on hand and in no rush whatsoever to acquire anything. i think thats a pretty strong signal that teck may indeed pass on cuu. teck doesnt need cuu, they have an enormous amount of projects already they can develop.
Let Teck walk. Another major will swoop in on this project. Bidding wars will ensue for a project of this incredible value. All the better for shareholders.
