CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
NPV just doesn't work here. It has to be a hybrid if you want to get at the real value. They don't want a guestimate for the payback period. They want to know what 20 years really looks like. There's a billion dollars of silver in the North zone and we didn't drill it up. That got Tecks attention and the drills were called off. It will require underground mining or a hybrid of open pit and block mining like Highland. You're not hearing diddley about it because it's out there in year 20. Because of this CUU doesn't give a hoot what Teck does if the price isn't what they want. Go to Corebox and look at the silver slides. Also, silver is about to go up in value. There are people working on an aluminum-silver matrix to produce super conductive space craft skins. With helium3 warp drive is 20 years out.
