I'll be the first to admit that I know little about the resource sector, Copper Fox being my first investment in this field. Today, I've read suggestions that the reason for the delay in the release of the BFS is that Copper Fox wants to ensure that there is as little opportunity as possible for Teck to further slow things down by questioning the BFS.

So, here's the question: is it common practice for a major to legally challenge an allegedly flawed BFS produced by a junior explorer? Or, is it occasional practice but still frequent enough that it should be a concern? Those with knowledge can enlighten me, and thanks in advance. Sorry, another question: should it become apparent that the only reason for a legal challenge by Teck is to waste more time (and assuming that Teck doesn't mind risking its reputation in the process), what recourse does Copper Fox have? For instance, does Copper Fox have the option of simply walking away and inviting other offers?

Also, thanks to dbl66 for passing on his conversation with Elmer: the first line of dbl66's message read: "I spoke to Elmer yesterday and he confirmed that the the factual components of the BFS were done and in Tecks hands for review...". Hmmm... while I'm aware that Copper Fox and Teck liaise on a regular basis, it was my understanding that Teck doesn't get to see the BFS before it is COMPLETE. That's when the countdown starts, right? So much I don't know about this game.
