Here's the another problem I have with your speculation. You said for all this to work an insider ( Anonymous ) would have to be selling shares into the market to control the price. Since no insider other than DM has been reporting "sells"on the market then this insider is really putting himself in legal jeapordy.
Penalties for insider manipulation of stock could result in the barring of that individual to own or trade any publicly traded company for life, or to be appointed as a director of any publicly traded company. Would any of the directors do that? And if that were going on then Elmer would also have to be aware of it and tacitly give it his approval. Would Elmer jeapordize his career and reputation on other companies for something like this? Imho, I don't think a deal has been "sealed" yet. For a deal to be done all the directors would have to approve of it or be made aware of it. And since DM is still trading his shares, it tells me no final figure has been agreed to yet.
