Yes I understand the concept. I am just of the opinion that Teck would offer ( for example) $600 million for our share. Whether it is paid in cash or Teck shares is unimportant. You can sell Teck shares if you want cash although I do understand they may depreciate with a large # of people trying to sell at once. On the other hand once Teck owns 100% they may be able to obtain a working partner and their shares may increase in value.
I would really like to see something happen in the short term ( at the JV meeting for example) but I sort of doubt it because I think if something were going to happen the price would have already spiked in anticipation. The more I follow the stock market the more it seems someone always knows ahead of time and acts accordingly.
