I doubt Teck would accept any offer anyways unless it's a very low one since they want a partner on Galore and now QB2. In fact I expect Teck will waive the ROFO on Schaft Creek just like they did with the ROFR on Galore.
Exploration Guy, I respectfully disagree with this statement. it is my belief that Teck has to take us out if they want a paying partner to share development expenses for the mine. if they just drop the ROFO we can sell the JV contract to another "dead beat" partner that Teck will have to carry to production.
In the past Teck has, on occasion, sold as much as 30% to each of two partners and retained 40% for themselves to reduce their developement costs, and have retained the right to remain as the operator.
It is my opinion they will assess what they can get from a major or two and then take us out. it's possible they may also have an interest in the Carmack property for the future...best to all......chunky
