CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I always wondered why they signed the new JV with Teck after Salazar. It clearly gives the advantage to Teck as there are no timelines or deadlines on anything and leaves CUU shareholders up the creek (see the 8.5 cent share price with zero volume today for confirmation on that). My question remains the same.
If the Salazar Agreement was not enforceable, what the hell was CUU doing spending upwards of a hundered million dollars of shareholder money drilling on land without a valid agreement with Teck? Talking about the price of gold or copper or anything else is pie in the sky when we not only don't produce any, but have no plans of doing so.
