We are breeding stupid people so we don't even try to educate them. I read Shakespeare in Grade 7. Now days they can't read it at all. They can't understand the words! Before the 50's people got most of there education at home and there was a lot less information out there. Now there's an information and knowledge explosion but only a fraction of the people are capable of understanding it. This is why we've developed the voting systems that we have. It was a long time in coming but a century ago it was obvious how that would turn out.
