EZ-"$2.00 to $3.00 is not a respectable offer. You might be interested in a low ball offer like that, but not me"
EZ, i've really been trying hard to remain positive (or at least silent) here (negativity does not help the cause, i know), but i think $3 (roughly $1bil) is fair at this point for the following reasons...
valuation is based on the "market value", even at icsid arbitration. which takes into account political and other risks......
the majority of kry/grz's icsid claim (please dont challenge me on this one, as it wont help either of us) is "lost profits"....
while i'm pretty convinced kry would recieve an award for "lost investment+interest" and a few other items, from what i see in other cases, i'm real skeptical about "lost profits".
i'd much rather have a gauranteed $2-$3 today than a chance to maybe have $6, five years down the road...and if fung can pull that off, we better consider ourselves fortunate...imo
