Fung was not and never have been the godfather to any of Li Ka Shing sons, he was Richard Li's mentor for a couple of years at a Toronto investment company Gordon Capital,

the connection is not as big as some make it out to be, I posted the connection years ago only to see over time the story has taken a life of its own, Fung connected Li to two former canadian Prime Minister that he were friends with
