I wish collecting was as easy as suggested by EZ but as far as I know companies would have to go through the court system in the country they are asking to take VZ assets. This doesn't mean companies won't be able to collect it just means more time and effort will be needed.

I think this is how Exxon got the British courts to freeze 12 billion of VZ accounts. It was later over turned by I think this was the start of VZ getting their gold and money away from western culture countries.

In the end, whenever the arbitration case is over, if we go the distance there are lots of countries to seek payment from.
