I agree with you Paydirt, we all get it. Finskiy's clumsy moves to steal CMM (& its gold in the ground) are probably part of a larger scam, which they likely cooked up with his mentor, Prokhorov. But they will not succeed.

If not the NO vote or the regulators, then the courts will stop them for sure. Finskiy's shenanigans to bring the BoDs of both company's under his absolute control prior to the announcement, and then have them approve/recommend his merger plan, probably smacks on conspiracy to defraud. If the moves by Finskiy and his pals in both CMM and WTG are not a CONFLICT OF INTEREST & UNFAIR to minority shareholders, then I don't know what is!

The ethical fallout from this debacle will tarnish their reputations for years. Would anyone in their right mind be willing to invest with thieves?! I doubt it. If Finskiy & Prokhorov want to invest & operate in our country then they should be prepared to play by our rules/laws.
