Developing large acreage positions of unconventional and conventional oil and gas resources
Hello,
An interesting discussion both for and against unitization. However trying to split hairs regarding the outcome at this point is meaningless (IMHO) other than making for a good discussion. Until there is some sort of value put on the land FO would become a partner in that is currently held by MOL/XOM (ie not part of the JV) and a value on the land currently held by FO 100% there isn't much else to do but speculate. It appears we will head down the road towards unitization, as we are use to by now we will await the results because we don't have a say in the outcome either way. BTW thanks Lanman for digging up info regarding unitization.
As a shareholder of FO I hope for the best deal possible but the reality is XOM has us by the 'short and curlies' and will ultimately decide for us what our share will be.
That's my 2 cents, am I wrong?
Regards,
SD
