When you think of it, you could say, my work was the opposite of genius.
You can’t think these things up.

What I did, I did over time, according to the demands of the job.

Out of years of doing thousands of things, you could really only label one of those things genius:
The decision to do the project in the first place; convincing myself the work was worth it.
