Ah mtl - of course management has a vital role to play; why do you think I'm so adamant that current management should stay? You can have a management team that is highly qualified according to academic standards yet knows squat about the variables that really matter - the stuff in the ground........I'm sure the geologist of Mr.Granger's choosing is well qualified and could assist the company in the future.
The point I'm trying to get across is that the current management is savvy (knows what it is doing - probably more than we realize- would you tell a chess opponent what your next 4 moves will be?) and is sincere! Something is rotten in Denmark, where Mr. Granger is concerned. The fact that he has hastily put together an alternate slate a very short time before the AGM and the fact that he was not on current management's slate screams out loud to me that something is not kosher. How about the conflict of interest stuff as well, it is dubious.
Once again Mr. Smith has kept the company afloat to the best of his abilities which are not good enough for the majority of this agoracom board. Do you honestly think he wonders how he can make shareholders unhappy?Maybe I'm blind yet It is so obvious that he does care about this company or else he would have sold up and moved on by now.
I still think market forces will recognize the true value for Fancamp shareholders under the direction of current management.
