Resource projects cover more than 1,713 km2 in three provinces at various stages, including the following: hematite magnetite iron formations, titaniferous magnetite & hematite, nickel/copper/PGM, chromite, Volcanogenic Massive and gold.
Your's are appreciated as well!
A few things...
It costs $65 to stake a claim on a property that has the possibility of a nice hit. My understanding is that due to the rise of exploration we are seeing in the resource sector, companies like ours benefit in that we can stake properties next to theirs that look intriguing, and at almost no cost. The big companies pay almost all the exploration money. So on that note, I love that we have an expert in the field following what’s going on. I think we should be claiming whatever we can get.
Drilling is expensive of course, and we ought to be informed and fiscally responsible in terms of how we choose to do that and spend funds. The right team can make the best choices in terms of what to drill, and when, and to keep the investors informed and included.
The real issue for most is what you point out. We have multiple undervalued properties already, and we all should be getting paid for these by now one way or the other. Also, we don't ever really know what's going on. We just get tidbits of info and then everything gets turned upside down. This needs to change.
We need a team that can make that happen, but Sharma, Billings, and Mehra are not it. I think Sharma is there to give Mehra and Billings votes on the board and nothing more. They have more votes than Peter Smith and Paul Ankcorn with him. Billings and Mehra made Sharma a director without input from the other two. It’s flat out wrong.
IMO Billings and Mehra want to get paid. They’re likely frustrated in the way many Fancamp investors are. The catch is that they don’t care about us. If you follow their story you will see that. I have a feeling that the recent flow through was just the beginning. There have been some informative posts on the ceo Fancamp page about this. Southpaws and Landman in particular.
The ‘fight’ does have the potential to make a difference. If we do nothing, I think the new team is going to fleece us. If we stop it, Fancamp can come back better than ever with a new leader and a unified team. That is really what we all want and I know we can make it happen.
