Hi daisy, at first I was going to respond by sending you an email then decided against it. I will try and give out a few urls that everyone can use in your quest for info on daytrading. Send you a few urls and you can go do a little research on the sites. Then come back and we can detail just what it is you require to get you to, where you want to be.

Online broker....I use TD Active Trader, it a good trading platform and my trades are a $7 per trade no limit on amount of shares. Others are good also such as Trade Freedom, same trading platform but the costs are a little higher at $9.95 a trade. TD also has better phone service to talk to a rep. Advantage TD,

Trading site...this is a very important part of your trading. You need to be part of a site with like minded individuals. You need a place where can find out what is going on in the investment world. The b est site I have found on the internet by far is Trading Chief, yes it costs you $20 a month but its worth far more. If it costs me $200 a month, I would pay it. This site is a money maker plain and simple. Take a real good look at all it offers, you will be amazed.

You need a site which offers streaming realtime quotes and portfolios. Stockwatch has market depth, level 2 , intraday charting, complete analytics news, etc etc. This site costs around $100 a month and to me this is a must have for anyone serious about trading.

You need a trading computer. To be serious about trading online you need a computer that can run mutiple monitor setup of some sort. One monitor simply isn't enough to trade with. Personally I recommend a computer that runs at least 4 monitors. This is easy to hook up and not as expensive as many believe. Cost is around $150 to $175 for a used matrox quad video card from eBay, slip it into the PCI slot on your computer, go out and buy additional monitors and its done. I use a 10 monitor setup but its overkill. LOL

I hope this in some ways helps you and others daisy. Any further questions give me a shout.
