Actually Al I did not say the shorters are ganging up on the longs. What I'm stating is how it works. There are way to many holders of shares to be ganging up on any one. It is the preception that is created by short selling.

That said I agree that at times fully mature companies based on fundamentals could be shorted, based on performance. But lets face it not knowing what news is next, how can anyone value an exploration company especially one that appears to have a major discovery.
