Maybe not but a verbal conversation sure is a lot more deniable. I'm not saying a phone conversation can't be useful but you sure can't give it anywhere near the same weight as a written/published statement.
You'll never see 'Blue Sky' in a news release and neither will you see a statment that platinum group metals at DE1 are worth $200 an ounce as Nemis said in a conversation UNTIL that's supported by a 43-101. People read a lot more into a verbal statement that they should because certain 'qualifiers' like 'my opinion' are often left to be assumed by the person listening.
Let's not go round and round on this and remember I'm also long on Noront for a lot of bucks too and feel they will come up with the goods. However if you look at the share price today it's evident that to get more investors on board we need a fair bit more factual information, such as assay results.
