Fatwolit: you state “At some point, however, I do expect an increase in PR phrased in such a way that it doesn't affect Patriot's relations with its clients. That's the art of good PR.”
Fatwolit, I Absolutely agree. And we can increase that type of PR today.
And it will require a little more time for the industry to mature sufficiently before we truly accelerate our mainstream PR activities. At this point in time, a lot of folks would have a tough time understanding where a company like Patriot fits in our over-arching economic system. And this messaging would be negatively miss-construed to our detriment. While today our messaging would run the high risk of being miss-construed, the industry is evolving very very quickly. And I believe that we will soon (perhaps within 6-18 months) be able to successfully articulate our role to industry.
That said, we should be pushing hard to engage industry leaders who understand and would benefit from the services of Patriot. The Scripps deal was a precedent in this area. For now, these deals will come to us in the form for referrals, etc. We need to do more along these lines…and this does require that we have marketing communications content to help engage prospective clients on spot engagements.
