I better understand what you are suggesting, but the interesting thing to me is that what you are proposing PTSC do is basically what TPL is trying to do, only they have the resources on hand to actually do it (i.e., much more effectively). And they are "private" both ways - quiet and not-publically-held.

I'm not sure this is what PTSC wants to be about. I like the Holocom deal and acquiring rights to their patents, but that was an extremely low cost/risk proposition with potential future revenues from actual product.. I'm not sure I'd like to go down the path of PTSC paying big bucks for some patents (only) so they can re-enter this agonizing game, and also have to hire a bunch of high-priced folks just to play.
