This recent Pacer document, which is the text of a PROPOSED order for Judge Ward's consideration, to grant the stay HAS NOT YET BEEN SIGNED BY JUDGE WARD, as of the time of my posting. And it is categorically irresponsible for anyone to post it without that disclaimer. Attorneys routinely file proposed orders with their motions to save the court time, but these remain PROPOSED until the judge actually signs them.

Seeing as both "sides" agree to the motion requesting the stay, I see no reason why Judge Ward would not grant it. But the fact remains that until and unless he does, NO ONE should be posting anything saying that he HAS.

That's why he's the judge, and we're not.
