The Stay does not have to be completed in 30 days...  All parties could ask for another, say, 2 weeks.. J Ward would not neccessarily have to grant it, but if it guaranteed settlement, I'd guess he would.

Remember, all parties are burning extremely valuable trial prep time as the days of this Stay tick by...  Too valuable IMO, to try to catch back up for trial
