From my understanding, you are correct in your statement....I believe at this juncture if the settlement is pending but not final, it would be in both parties interest to continue work towards settling. The trial date does not shift out - meaning where they originally had 60 days to get ready, now they have only 30....and at this point the cash burn in legal preparation ramps dramatically....
