The significance of a "Final Rejection" is surely based on the grounds for the rejection. Now read what engineers are saying about the examiner's analysis of the '336 and then tell me that it means the end of the patent.

What engineers are you talking about?? I presume the one's that chimed in on this board who are heavily invested in Patriot(?) Do you know if they are actually even engineers? Do you know who they are and what their credentials are? You're stating the final rejection is "much ado about nothing" based on what a couple of posters stated on this board have stated??? No regard for what the USPTO examiners think??? Who holds more weight? Who's opinion means more - a couple of slightly biased posters who chimed in on a stock board or the examiners at the USPTO? Are you implying that these posters trump the USPTO examiners? That's what it sounds like you're saying. Needless to say, this is spinning to the max. Getting a final rejection may not be the very last nail in the coffin, but it's not "much ado about nothing" it is a serious bump in the road - no need to spin it like it's nothing.

GO CROSSFLO!!
