I think you should look at it from a CEO standpoint. Any ITC ruling against major products that generate billions in revenue will eventually become priority in weekly/daily meetings as the CEO is beholden to shareholders. Any exclusion would meen significant dollars. A preliminary exclusion will certainly get everyone's attention. If the initial exclusion is upheld in Jan 2014 - if it goes that long without settlements - it would be monumental. Ecommerce is not an issue. Virtually all electronic items are manufactured abroad and imported because it is cheaper to build outside the US. So the 200+ billion in sales is irrelevant. What is important is the quantity of sales from all of the accused products from the remaining companies at the ITC. Classic risk reward. Hopefully we are willing to go the distance to obtain substantial dollars.
