One would hope the Judge is not influenced by outside pressure, but from experience, they often are. Just recently, a small private company, that I have a stake in, was in front of an ITC Judge against a chip Giant.

Long story short, The Judge received numerous letters form Congressmen and Senators to side with the chip maker. A ruling against them would be to damaging to the economy according to these polititians. After the trial, the chip giant knew it was in trouble, especially when their experts failed miserably in their testimony. They attempted to negotiate a deal before the final ruling from the Judge. We did not accept because we knew we had won. It was obvious to us the chip giant and everyone in the courtroom.

Well the Judge came back and found in favor of the Chip giant on all 10 issues at disput. So you never know. In our case, according to our attorneys, the Judge completely ignored the "rule of law". The good news is that even if the Judge rules against us in itially we can appeal to the commission, in which, our case, we did. The commission generally overturns the Judges decision over 50% of the time. In our case they did. They overturned 7 out of the 10 issues. The 3 that were not, the commission said they could not rule on. We should not have any problem in District court getting the final 3 issues in our favor.

So what I am saying, is if for reason we should not have a favorable ruling, its not the end of tha game. We still have the Commission and District court.
