NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
I don't believe any one is disputing that Eagle 1 is a great find but 12 drill holes do give an indication of the extent of mineralization. It doesn't prove up even 5 million tons at any specific grade just indicates it could be this large. 5 million tons isn't chicken feed but it's far from a Voisey Bay which was an unusually large find.
IMHO Eagle 1 isn't going to come anywhere close, they already know width and idea of lenght. It will take Eagle 2 etc. before comparisons to Voisey Bay can be made and that kind of prospecting might be in preliminary stages but nothing to value in the stock yet.
Let's try to be at least a little realistic about Noront's current prospects.
