Stock pricing is just fantastic and one wonders how long it can continue without some solid news.
I'm a bit puzzeled over the claim to have already drilled enough to infer 5 million tons. Different figures being thrown around and hard to know who to believe.
My understanding was that the spectacular hole while deep was proved by other holes to be part of a narrow ore body and that, given existing drill results, one can figure out a one million ton rich ore body and then up to 4 million tons of quite lower grade ore. That's not what gets tossed about on this forum where 5 million tons and looking for more seems to be the assumption.
DE is quite some time (months not days) from stating any proven or inferred ore bodies. Counting on over $1000 a ton on 5 million tons while possible is far from something that can be counted on. Noront has a market cap of over $500 million (how many shares are outstanding now?). Not disputing it might be worth 1 or even 2 billion but it would be scary to reach that kind of number without some proof on the table.
Don't think I'll stick my neck out and say that $6 might be as high as it can go before some solid details come out. Just happy I wouldn't consider shorting NOT. People are crazy and could push this up to $7 or $8 without news.
