These comments attributed to Maund portray a purely and simplistic chartist analysis (not even good technical analysis) that ignores all value fundamentals and risk reward probability analysis. That is a little like sticking your head in a dark place and pronouncing that night has fallen. What is slightly more incredible is when the ball gazer cannot articulate clearly exactly which alternative investments will outperform over say 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months or 5 years. Of course the problem with gurus of the pen is that you have no idea whether they have any money in the game. I am sure the guys who took down the $26 Million don't subscribe to the technical doom.
