Lots more possibilities:

Where is that 43-101 and why haven’t they done more drilling between Eagle One and Eagle Two?

After the discovery of Eagle one came the following Oct 30th news release, under the titel 'Expanded Program". I believe they are referring here to what would become known as Eagle Two:

"The second diamond drill arrived at the project site on the 23rd of October and was moved to the first drill site to test for the southerly extension of the Eagle One Magmatic Massive Sulphide (MMS) occurrence."

Note the wording ‘Southern extension”

This is a long time from the Eagle Two discovery but the drill was in a 'bad state of repair' so this could explain the delay.

And then on Feb 25th the famous "Eagle has landed".

"We are pleased to announce that semi-massive to massive sulphide mineralization has been encountered about 2 kilometers to the southwest of Eagle One, in what is believed to be a peridotite filled conduit of the Eagle One magmatic massive sulphide occurrence. Our new drill objectives are to focus on this new occurrence and also to complete drill testing several other high-priority geophysical targets within the Double Eagle project area… This new massive sulphide discovery occurs at the Aerotem Anomaly #2, located approximately 2 kilometers to the southwest of the Eagle One magmatic massive sulphide occurrence..."

The blue line you see in the map below is the "distinct EM conductor" running from Eagle One to Eagle Two where it 'peters out". *

If the theory is correct, that this is indeed a conduit between Eagle One and Eagle Two then the question is how far down is this conduit. As Kaiser says ".. this is a good reason to hold one's breath as Noront's drill rigs probe the length of the conductor".

In Kaiser's Feb report he further states "Noront has not yet drilled immediately to the south of its Eagle One discovery where any new zone is likely to straddle the Fancamp boundary"

Now comes NORONT's April 2nd release which seems to be the start of drilling in this area. But this is all we get.

"AT1 - This short, strong, deep airborne target was tested with four drill holes and although the favourable peridotite host rock was encountered, no explanation of the geophysical response was obvious. Deeper penetrating ground surveys, including down-hole probing will be carried out here to guide future drilling at greater depths. The four holes all along local grid line 4500E, tested the peridotite down to a vertical depth of 150 meters."

The explanation seems to be, they believe it is there, but they have more work to do. Perhaps its just deeper then what they drilled. If so, then it is possible that the Eagle One conduit may extend over to Eagle Two.

I haven't seen any more mention of AT1 since this April 2nd release.

So, why are we NOT aggressively drilling BETWEEN Eagle One and Eagle Two, along that EM conductor?

Is this in any way related to why we have no 43-101 yet (haven't finished delineating) and why no one is discussing it?

A fantastic and exciting mystery!

Fancamp begins drilling as early as next week, so we may at least have new data from their side of the divide.

You have to stay in the game to play!

IMO
