I was going to let this issue rest now but I would be remiss if I did not respond to your post and its implications re Derek who is my friend.

The bottom line is that you are suggesting that perhaps he has a personality flaw and that as soon as he is confronted he runs away.

I think you are lacking in some history. Before you judge people and post it perhaps you should attempt to acquire the whole story. I am going on the assumption that you were NOT into this play back when there was no Agoracom forum for NOT.

Stockhouse was it and for a very very long time many of us longs fought it out with the bottom feeders on Stockhouse, not for one upsmanship but for space to post some good news like a phone call to the office.

Back then any news was torn apart by members of the forum creating an atmosphere of hate, loathing, fear and disrespect. Derek, myself and many others had been jaded. Every time a good post went up the poster was ridiculed, his family derided and any supporters would be hollered down.

So Now Derek has a short fuse or little patience.

I know this man. You are so far off in your insinuations about his character that you must be warned for your own good.

I am merely pointing out a mistake you are making in the hopes that you will correct the flaw in your personality that induces you to make these mistakes about the character of others based on a few posts.

One more thing. At least Derek comes back. I know a 100 pros who refuse to post here anymore. They prefer to use inbox or email and these men and women are leaders. The board is the loser all the time.

Attempts are always made by some to stifle. There is also the jealousy factor. Derek is well respected. Some are envious.

I hope you will take this post for what it is. It is information regarding a friend of mine. I hope you will ponder this.
