Your analysis is superb.
May be there are someone who knows the system in Toronto that can make available comment. I had a stock brokerage firm 22 years ago in Hong Kong, but I lack the Canada's experience in commenting on this issue .
Having said that, I feel that the timing to split the company is not right. a/ The share price had dropped too much/too fast
b/ our management will have to involve a lot of time to handle two Public listed companies at this stage.
c/ cash in bank only sustain less than a year for the two projects, can splitting two companies makes us easier to raise money ??
Unless the Toronto exchange has a rule that :upon their approval, we have at least half a year grace period to execute ..or better, a potential buyer/partner only interest in DE project.
