Drill results send share prices soaring!!!

For you Noront investors who are not familiar with junior exploration and mining companies being able to make big gains in faltering economies, the market reaction to the news out yesterday from Ivanhoe Mines about their drill results in Mongolia is a good example.

Last night on Mineweb was the headline: "Mongolian Drill Results Send Ivanhoe Shares Soaring". The byline reads: "Shares in Ivanhoe Mines have jumped by 20% on news of discovery of a new high-grade gold and copper zone at Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia."

As many of you probably know, Mongolia is not rated as the most "mining friendly" country in which to invest. Nevertheless, superlative drill results always attract investment. And here Noront is, located in the most "mining friendly" country in the world, with one of the most stable governments in the world, having already hit some of the highest grades of nickel, platinum, etc., in Canadian mining history, and over huge widths. And we already have a number of high priority drill targets that we are drilling this winter.

The likelihood of finding another super-rich ore body like Eagle 1 is very good. The point of this is that if Ivanhoe can generate a 20% gain from a nice drill report out of a country like Mongolia, consider what Noront can achieve by some great drill reports out of McFaulds Ring of Fire in Ontario, or from our Windfall gold project in Quebec!

I'm still convinced that Noront is the best Canadian junior explorer for investment, and that this will be proven out in the months ahead! P.S. - This post is supposed to be in 5 paragraphs, but the spacing does not seem to be working under the new system. I'll have to talk to Agoracom about this.
