"Like noxious weeds in a garden, they have managed to appear with pretty flowers, and seem attractive and usefull, and have now taken control of the garden, are choking out the productive vegetables, and are now spewing their poison to the extent that the garden tenders are considering abandoning the garden and trying a new spot."

I haven't found any spots where there aren't any weeds.... except a new lawn and that doesn't last long. Best thing to do is pull the weeds. We have a weed puller right on this very forum. It's called a violation report. Sometimes some healthy grass gets removed with the weeds but it grows back. If you make the environment difficult for weeds to grow then you'll see far fewer of them... but they come back too so you have to be vigilant.
