You are right khareema in that if we turn off a voice we don't want to hear, rather than responding to it and silencing it if it is creating nothing but havoc on the forum, we are not helping the forum to remove it where required. I'm not saying to shut if off only..I'm saying to respond with intelligence and respect as well. Its really all about the bickering and and the need to reduce it to a barely audible level. We also have to remember when the news dries up and the stock valuation drops it is the best time for controversy to start up in a forum of this sort, and by best I actually mean "worst". Silence from our company is not golden until we find out it was to our advantage that nothing was said. To that point I say we must trust our BOD and give them space to work their magic. We need to start giving the new BOD the respect we gave RN and they need to reciprocate on a continuous basis. If we communicate better and understand their game plan (of course they can't out and out tell us what that is), we should be able to quiet down the inhouse bantering.

Your reaction to my post is something I fully expected. We tend to react quickly and that can become an issue. We need to react in a way that gives space but does not empower those who are trying to build discontent in the forum. The more they talk the more we see who is here to better the company and who is here to bash the company. Its a fine line we have to walk. Sometimes the discussion here indicates to me there are self esteem and respect issues that must be considered. We're not here to attack each other, but to create understanding and build a common knowledge base where we all see things eye to eye, at least to the best of our ability. Its like a board meeting of the retail investment community. We all give our opinions, good or bad, and then we all discuss things without making personal jabs. We must deal with this forum in a busineslike manner to be successful in keeping those who view the forum interested in the information flow that comes out of it. If someone is being negative and it bothers someone else then rather than create the environment of excessive negativity then ignore button may well be the better alternative. Don't forget also for every poster here that may not handle things well with this scenerio I have great faith there are others that put the foot down in a way that befits the forum as a whole. Maybe that is what really needs to the determining factor as to whether the Ignore button (or just ignoring the persons posts as a whole) or responding to the poster is best for each of us. I think we'll all have our own opinions on how we handle the situation(s)...we just need to be sure we are correct otherwise we'll never stop the bantering.

Respectfully,

Mustangman
