You just confirmed what I said and the market has been saying: The deal will not help NOT (I believe it will but that is just me). We agree on that much. I am hearing that some people are realizing that Cliff's may not make a counter offer and the focus now changes. There are 3 possible outcomes here:

The deal goes thru as is: if this happens, those who sold FWR at 50 cents and bought NOT at 1.65 made a good trade!

The deal does not go thru: Each company resumes their normal business. I believe that FWR will fall while NOT rises. I could be wrong but I am putting my money where my mouth is!

Another offer comes in for FWR: Those who held their FWR shares will do great. NOT share holder still in a good position on their own!

So, right now, the risk reward for me of owning FWR at its current valuation is just not worth it. In 2 of 3 scenarios, holding FWR is a losing hand. In the other scenario, holding FWR is great but those holding NOT will make out fine.

When looking at all 3 scenarios, it is obvious to me that holding FWR holds more risk while the upside is limited and the down side could be a quick 50% shave!

Glorieux

PS: There is a fourth option and that is for NOT to sweeten the pot, I just do not see it happening so have not included it in these scenarios.

PSS: If you had followed the board for the last 2 years, you would know I am neither new to investing or too yound to understand! Welcome to Noront!!
