Message: Understanding The Freewest Mentality

No where in my post did I state or suggest that FWR shareholders are getting ripped off. I actually have great confidence in all the managements to maximize shareholder values through these or other transactions. However, just as NOT holders think their shares are worth well above market, so would most FWR holders. More importantly, you as an investor should be focussed on what happenings are going ultimately to bring a major into the play, not on something you (and I) are incapable of valuing even relatively. For me, this proposed transaction does not add value in total in that I do not see the whole being worth more than the sum of the parts at this point, simply creating a different risk profile. As far as bringing a major into the play, it appears FWR may be closer than NOT. So, I am happy either way, but understand those FWR shareholders who see a better future without NOT, especially given the existing CLF relationship.
