1) A hostile takeover bid is simply one where a bid is made without the agreement of the company being targeted.

2) Cliff is being used as a straw man by some posters. So far they have made no published bid. To talk of them walking away in the circumstances is nonsense, particularily as they have a 10 % stake in FWR
